Zambia statistics agency raises 2018 GDP growth figure to 4%

Zambia’s gross domestic product grew 4% in 2018, the country’s statistics agency said on Thursday, in a final reading that exceeded an initial figure of 3.7%. 

“This is mainly on account of revisions in source data for the transportation and storage, water supply and construction industries and more comprehensive source data for taxes less subsidies,” it said.
