ZAMTEL CEO Resigns

The Chief Executive Officer of ZAMTEL, Sydney Mupeta, has resigned from his position within the company as of Tuesday 7th December.

The announcement, made in a statement from the Industrial Development Corporation, thanked Mr Mupeta for the work which he has carried out during his time in the business, adding that it had enabled the company to achieve key milestones. The former CEO’s ambitions enabled the company to target 7 million subscribers by 2023.

Mr Mupeta had been in the role for just over 4 years, since October 2017.
