Milupi: Zambia Seeks Trade Opportunities Through PPP Model

Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi has stressed that Zambia's Private Public Partnership (PPP) model for infrastructure development aims to enhance the country's trade potential on the global stage.

Speaking from Washington DC, where he is representing Zambia at the 2025 Transforming Transport Conference, Milupi underscored the government's commitment to expanding investment opportunities that will benefit citizens.

He told the conference that the desire of the government is to grow the investment portfolio for the benefit of Zambians.

The conference, jointly hosted by the World Bank and the World Resources Institute at the Ross Centre for Sustainable Cities, has brought together global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss strategies for developing equitable, sustainable, and resilient transport infrastructure systems.

Milupi also highlighted the critical role of diplomatic missions in Zambia's economic growth strategy.
