Mkushi Woman Stabbed By 16-Year-Old Lover

A 30-year-old woman form Mkushi was stabbed to death by her 16-year-old lover on Saturday after he refused to wear a condom. 

Tina Solo met Peter Simwinga at a bar in Itala Township. The two apparently agreed to have sex, however, an argument broke out when she asked if he had a condom. After saying that he did not have a condom, Mr Simwinga becaome enraged and allegedly stabbed Ms Solo through the chest with a kitchen knife. 

According to Ms Solo’s aunt, Mainess Chikwete, 42, she died at around 03:40 on April 16th. Her body is at Mkushi District Hospital awaiting a postmortem and burial.

Mr Mwandila has been arrested and remains in police custody.
