President Lungu Makes Veiled Threat To Opposition Leader HH
Whilst addressing the Patriotic Front Copperbelt provincial elective conference in Kitwe, the current Zambian President made a veiled threat to opposition leader HH. The President warned all those ‘found breaking the law in the name of national dialogue,’ will be arrested,
He continued to state that he himself has never undermined democracy, an opinion much at odds with his critiques who increasingly believe the President Lungu and his cronies are chipping away at the democratic foundations of Zambia, not least with the latest Con Court ruling that allows him to run for a third term.
He also denied any rumours that he had purposely avoided the National Dialogue meeting on Friday, claiming that is he ready and available to participate as long as it does not ‘interfere with his mandate.’
