Saviour Chishimba Throws His Hat Into The Mayoral Race

Saviour Chishimba has seemingly abandoned his dreams of becoming Zambia’s President – instead today he signed up as a candidate for Lusaka Mayor.

Following the new constitution sealing loopholes around regular by-elections it seems some of the less likely Presidential aspirants have turned their attention to more achievable positions. Chishima was one of five people to file their nomination at the Nakatindi Hall today.

He was joined by Miles Sampa, Mndia Mukubesa and  Saboi Imboela.
