David Muma Appointed Acting ZAF Boss

President Edgar Lungu has appointed Major General David Muma to act as Zambia Air Force Commander following leave taken by ZAF commander Lieutenant General Eric Chimese.

In a statement from ZAF Public Relations Office, the appointment of Major General Muma, is pursuant to the powers vested in the president under article 98 section 2 of the constitution of Zambia.

“Arising from the foregoing, President Lungu has also appointed Brigadier General Chintu, who will act as deputy air force commander and chief of air staff,” read the statement.
