EU Calls On Lungu and Hichilema To Have Zero-Tolerance Approach To Violence

The European delegation to Zambia has called on both President Lungu and UPND leader Hichilema to take responsibility for their party’s actions and denounce all political violence.

Alessandra Mariani has said that the two leaders need to be more vocal in condemning political violence in all its forms. He made this statements following a closed door meeting with President Lungu at State House.

He said the two leaders should publicly disown its supporters who are involved in political violence.
