Harry Kalaba Vows To Continue Meetings No Matter How Many Times He's Arrested

Earlier today Harry Kalaba appeared for questioning  before Zambian Police for reportedly holding ‘illegal’ meetings.

The former Minister of Foreign Affairs was called to the Copperbelt police headquarters in Ndola for questioning and was accompanied by a crowd of chanting cadres at 10am this morning.

Following the questioning Commissioner Charity Katanga stated that he ahd been called for holding meeting without notifying the police in respect of the public order Act.

“The parliamentarian has been hosting secret meetings to mobilize what is called as Kalaba movement in churches within the province on the pretext of attending fellowships, “ she said.

She warned that failure by Mr. Kalaba to follow the law, the police will effect an arrest on him.

When asked for comment Mr Kalaba merely stated that the action taken by police meant nothing as the meetings were held as part of a quest to liberate communities. The former Minister then vowed to continue campaigning no matter how many times they arrested him.
