Government To Provide Television Satellites In Rural Areas

The Vice President has announced that the PF government will ensure people in rural areas have access to TV satellites. The ambitious new project will take place under the ‘Village Television Programme’ which is in partnership with Top Star.

The programme will target areas with no electricity.

This announcement came when Inonge Wina arrived at Mongu Airport for a three day working trip in the Western Province.

The Vice President was welcomed by Minister of Justice Given Lubinda, Western Province Permanent Secretary, Sibanze Simuchoba, Sioma Member of Parliament Mbololwa Subulwa and Heads of government departments.

Meanwhile, Acting President Inonge Wina says she expects the Zambia National Soccer Team to beat Namibia in the forthcoming football match.
