Guy Scott in Hot Water As Government Launches Probe

Former Vice President Guy Scott has found himself in trouble following the recent release of his memoir.

The government has announced that they will be carrying out an investigation into the Former Vice President due to details of former President Sata’s death being published in the book.

During a media briefing in Lusaka, Information and Broadcasting Minister Dora Siliya revealed that the PF Cabinet are looking into the matter and they are concerned as to how Dr Scott was in possession of the late President Sata’s death certificate.

Dr Scott has been criticised by some as ‘insensitive’ for revealing the details of Sata’s death in 2014. Dora Siliya noted that the government feels the publication of such private and personal information of the deceased was not only un-Zambian but also an affront on the cultural, traditional and Christian beliefs and values of the country.
