Kambwili Ignores Police Summons

Following a convincing win in the NDC by-elections last week, NDC consultant Chishimba Kambwili has defied police summons to appear before them for questioning on issues not yet known.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga announced yesterday that he had failed to turn up and that police were investigating a matter which they would not disclose information on.

Mr Kambwili said he did not attend due to his lawyer not being available, and as was his right he would not be questioned without a lawyer present.
