Breaking News: Police Attempt to Arrest HH at Ndola Airport, blocking him from taking off

Reports have surfaced that heavily armed state police are attempting to arrest the UPND President Mr Hakainde Hichilema at the Ndola on the Copperbelt.

HH was about to take off to Lusaka, when heavily armed State police surrounded him, flooding the airport and thereby causing commotion.

HH was on the Copperbelt after holding meetings with party officials peacefully, despite constant threats from the PF led overzealous police officers.

The police under instructions also tried to stop HH from attending mass at St Joseph’s Cupertino Catholic Church, on the grounds that he did not have a permit to do so.

It is unclear at this point why Police are attempting to arrest the UPND president and block him from using Ndola Airport.
