A Letter To President Lungu
Dear Mr president,
There is no war in our country, personally, I have never heard and seen firing and blazing guns….I thank you for that but yet on the other side what about the corruption, poverty and a hungry?
Mr president listen to the children on the streets, for how long are they going to keep on begging from the motorists, sleeping under the bridges, linving desperately and sniffing drugs from the bottles?
What have you and your government done to help these people? Totally nothing but always remember that youths are the greatest national assets therefore they provide solutions that will help these people to advance.
1. For how long are the graduates from higher learning institutions going to remain unemployed?
2. For how long are we going to see vulnerable students being denied access to bursaries but instead bursaries are being given to people with a strong financial muscle and at the same time vulnerable students are being stopped from writing exams due to being financially disabled to clear exorbitant fees they are supposed to pay?
3. For how long shall we keep on seeing youths becoming drug abusers across the country due to failure of your government to have youth empowerment projects and for how long shall we keep on seeing people becoming orphans due to the ritual killers that increasing in the country day by day?
4. For how long shall we keep on seeing patients in hospitals dying due to lack of essential medications and business men and women closing due to unfavorable conditions in the country (tax rates)
Note* a limping and dying economy can never be made stable by increasing tax rates instead you are actually making it worse cause potential investers will avoid bring investments in our country due to higher tax rates.
5. For how long are you going to continue preaching about climate change instead of providing solution cause people and animals in gwembe, shangombo, munyumbwe, nalolo bwengwa and many more other places in the country are dying cause of hunger and disease due to shortage of water or not having enough rains?
Mr President and the people in the government we really deserve a better life.
