B Flow Attacked By Cadres
Musician B Flow was this weekend attacked by cadres who he says identified themselves as belonging to the PF.
B Flow gave a detailed account of the incident on social media, also reporting the matter to Lusaka Central Police. He obtained a medical report and went to the hospital for his injuries. According to the musician he was in pain on the left side of his face where he was slapped and punched.
“A group of ignorant cowards who introduced themselves as PF cadres attacked me as I walked to the car park at Government Complex where I had been attending the premiere of Black Dollar movie,” B Flow wrote on Facebook.
He went on to recount how he was asked for some money by the cadres. When he said he didn’t have any on him the attackers insulted him, allegedly stating, “You are very stupid, you can't refuse to give us money when you have been insulting our leader, the President.”
It was at this point that according to B Flow they began slapping and kicking him.
One of the musician’s friends raised the alarm with security personnel from G FORCE Security who came to my rescue.
B Flow claims that the thugs threatened to beat Pilato next time.
Commenting on the incident B Flow stated, “Fellow citizens, we have to defend our democracy. Our country is being destroyed by the culture of cadreism which is being tolerated and condoned by our leaders. If government was able to ban dangerous alcoholic beverages like "utujilijili", what would stop leaders from banning the hooliganism and criminality being perpetuated by cadres who claim to be doing things in the name of government?”
“We are living in a time where leaders threaten youth by saying "You are too naked to misbehave" because you disagree with the ill-treatment of Zambian workers by foreign employers. Police stations are being attacked by cadres, parliament is failing to censure parliamentarians who lie on the floor of the house, media houses are shut down for airing truth,” he continued.
Following the attack, B Flow thanked supporters for their prayers and support, as well as G FORCE Security.
“I thank God for your prayers and support. The most important thing is life. I trust that the police will do their job. We shall defence our democracy even if it means dying for it.”
