Kambwili Calls On Lungu To Show Leadership
NDC leader Chishimba Kambwili has called on President Lungu to show leadership in the current coronavirus pandemic, which since last week has spread to Zambia.
Taking to social media the former PF minister writes, “It's times like these when real president's are made, a crisis such as corona virus gives an opportunity for President Edgar Lungu to flex his muscle and come out strong for the Zambian citizens.
It's times like these when president's are supposed to grab the bull by it's horns and take the lead out of a crisis. It's times like these when president's are supposed to take a firm stance on critical national issues that only require the head of state to address.
Tell the Zambians how you intend to protect them from this deadly virus that has wreaked havoc world over. We see Boris Johnson, Donald Trump, Ramaphosa and many other world leaders addressing their people and assuring them that their leaders are standing with them during such a trying time.
President Lungu it is you we elected and it's you we entrusted with the mantle of protecting us your citizens.
