UPND Will Market HH To Win in 2021

Newly elected UPND Sinda District chairman Innocent Ngoma has said his party will vigorously market its leader Hakainde Hichilema to win the 2021 General Election. 

In an interview on Thursday, Mr Ngoma said he hoped to see the UPND rally around its leader to ensure victory.

“I envy to unite the party to ensure we win next year’s elections. We want to market our leader Hakainde Hichilema to the people so that we win next year’s elections,” he said.

He added that the failures of the PF government meant that the party would be at a disadvantage in next year’s elections.

“The problems that people have undergone from the time PF came into power are what will disadvantage them (PF) come next year. We are told drugs are there in hospitals but there are no drugs in these health centres. If you go round our district in Sinda and Kapoche Constituency, truly you will feel bitter to see the deplorable state of the road network we are using. Our poor national economy is affecting us in everything, poor agricultural market system is the order of the day. All these are what PF has subjected the people of Zambia to,” he said.

The UPND district chairman admitted that the PF party had more resources than the opposition but said that change was in the heart of the Zambian people.

He added that the PF had itself triumphed over the previous MMD government with less money and resources in 2011, and that the same would be true of the UPND in 2021.
