UPND Government Is Operating Without Disruption – Anderson Banda

UPND youth chairperson Anderson Banda has proclaimed that the UPND government is operating robustly without any disruption in the course of its duties, whilst the current crop of opposition have no direction in offering checks and balances.

Mr Banda offered these comments when he featured on MUVI TV Bluntant talk program on whether the UPND Government was finding it hard to work properly amidst pressure from opposition political parties. 

Mr Banda’s answer was definitive, stating that some opposition leaders have failed to use the current political environment to mobilize their structures and instead are busy hallucinating on matters that have no backing.

Furthermore, it has only been under the New Dawn Government that opposition members can feel safe to gather anywhere without being harassed, unlike what use to happen under the PF regime, added Banda.

Mr Banda said the UPND administration will continue to support an enabling environment for all. However he also warned everyone to be aware that all of us are guaranteed Freedom of Speech and Expression, but no one is guaranteed freedom after the Speech or Expression.

He advised the opposition to choose their words carefully and express themselves appropriately and honestly.

Mr Banda said the PF should be thankful to the UPND Government for creating an environment which the UPND were never afford during 10 years of PF rule.

Banda credited His Excellence president of the Republic of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema for commiting to this environment just 24 hors after being declared.
