Five Kabwata Constituency Parliamentary Candidates File Nominations

FIVE Kabwata Constituency Parliamentary candidates have successfully filed in their nominations.

The five candidates include Economic and Equity Party( EPP) President Chilufya Tayali who was the first to file in his nominations at around 09:00 hours.

People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) candidate Sydeny Zyambo also filed in his nominations at about 10:00 hours.

However, a Democratic Party (DP) candidate failed to file in the nominations as he did not manage to come fourth.

At 10:30 hours United Progresive Party (UPP) candidate Francis Libanda managed to file in his nominations at around.

And Patriotic Front (PF) candidate Clement Tembo managed to file in his nomination around 11:00 hours.

Further Socilalist Party (SP) candidate Tripher Ng’andu popularly known as uncle T, managed to file in his nominations.

Candidates from Patriots Economic Party (PEP), United party for National Development (UPND), Rainbow Party and an independent are also expected to file in their nominations this afternoon.

The parliamentary by-election in Kabwata constituency has been necessitated following the death of the United Party for National Development (UPND) Member of Parliament Levy Mkandawire.
