We have declared a silent revolution – Nalumango

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakinde Hichilema’s running mate, Mutale Nalumango, has said that the upcoming general elections will be a silent revolution to remove the Patriotic Front (PF) from government.

In a recent interview, Nalumango said that silent revolution, as well as changes from 2011 to now, will help to remove the PF from government.

“This is not 2011, this is 2021, we have declared a silent revolution because people will not go out in the streets to shout.”

Nalumango added that the revolution will help Zambian citizens see a positive change compared to the failures which the current government have caused.

“No-one should take these failures by this government anymore. They don’t need to be on an anthill to convince themselves that it is time for change…we know that we are on the side of the Zambian people who would like to see change and real change that comes with responsible leadership [from the UPND].”

For Ms Nalumango, the UPND winning the August elections would be more than a win for Hakainde Hichilema.

“Zambians are ready to win, this is not about winning by Hakainde Hichilema, it is about Zambia winning. Zambians are taking back their power. Choose the right side, choose where people will care for you.”
