UPND Alliance To Hold Rally, Observing COVID-19 Guidelines

The UPND are due to hold their first political rally since party leader, Hakainde Hichilema, filed his nomination papers in last week.

The rally, which is due to be held in line with COVID-19 guidelines, is set to go ahead on Saturday 29th May at Changanamai Ground in Kitwe, with Mr Hichilema and his alliance partners to be the main speakers at the event.

The event will provide the UPND with an opportunity to effectively deliver their campaign message to Zambian voters whilst also ensuring voter safety through following COVID-19 guidelines.

The UPND’s manifesto outlines the party’s vision to ensure a “united and prosperous Zambia with equal opportunities across ethnic, religious and gender considerations, living in harmony in a free democratic society.” The manifesto also has a strong focus on fixing the economy and providing citizens with the opportunity to put food on the table each day.
