Vice President Praises New Dawn Government For Rising Pupil Enrolment

Mutale Nalumango, Vice President, has praised the New Dawn Government for the rise in pupil enrolment across the country.

She stated that the success was based on good policies implemented by the government.

The policy includes the provision of free education, which was rolled out earlier this year.

The Vice President outlined how refreshing it was to see statements come to fruition and be totally inclusive of all Zambian citizens.

The statement came following the politician’s visit to her former Lubuto secondary school in Ndola where she worked as a member of staff.

Following a complaint by the Copperbelt Provincial Education Officer, who outlined that the province was facing a shortage of infrastructure, the Vice President said that the government was responding to the challenges that provinces are facing admit the increase of pupils.

The Officer also thanked the government for the recruitment of nearly 3,000 teachers to the province to help cope with the influx of students.
