President Hichilema Arrives In Namibia Ahead of SADC Summit

Today, President Hakainde Hichilema has travelled to Namibia to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit to discuss issues such as politics, defence and security.  

The summit will be led by Namibian President Hage Gottfried Geingob and other attendees including South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa.

It provides an opportune moment for President Hichilema to emphasise Zambia’s commitment to regional peace and security.

In light of recent global instability, President Hakainde Hichilema has continuously called for international cooperation to respond to emerging threats to peace.

He is expected to return immediately to Zambia following the end of the summit.
