Nkana Halt String of Losses

Wednesday saw Nkana halt its recent string of losses as their match against Nkwazi ended in a 2-2 draw.

Fred Tshimenga put his side, Nkana, ahead in the 28th minute, with Nkwazi scoring the second goal of the game in the 36th minute. The third goal came from Nkana in the 67th minute, with hopes of a win riding on the final few minutes of the match. An equalizer was scored by Nkwazi in the 84th minute.  

Subsequent to this result, Nkana are unbeaten to Nkwazi this season.

The last ten matches played by Nkana have ended in two draws and eight defeats, with their last win occurring over three months ago when they beat Nkwazi in February.

Nkana remain second from bottom in the League on 24 points with ten games left to play, seven points behind the Lumwana Radiants. Nkwazi are currently in 7th place with the same number of points as the Power Dynamos and only three points away from the top four.
