Premier League Football Returns

The Football Association of Zambia (|FAZ) has confirmed the return of Premier League football on 28 August. The League is scheduled to kick off with the Charity Shield between Zesco United and Lusaka Dynamos at Woodlands stadium in Lusaka.  

On Saturday 11 September the 2021/22 MTN Super League and FAZ/EDEN University National Division week one fixtures will take place. 

On the continental front, Zesco United and Zanaco will represent the country in the CAF Champions League, while Red Arrows and Kabwe Warriors will play in the CAF Confederation Cup. 

According to FAZ pre-season preparations are currently underway and the Association is in consultation with the Ministries of Health and Sport regarding the possible return of fans to stadia.
