ZESCO CAF Confederation Team Announced

Mumamba Numba, ZESCO team coach, has announced his team ahead of the 2022/2023 CAF Confederation Cup.

The twenty-person team includes new signing striker Austin Muwowo and winger Songa Chipyoka.

Numba explained that although Chipyoka is due to play in the U20 COSAFA Cup in Eswatini tomorrow he will also be playing the ZESCO game.

Numba said, “Songa will join us after he plays the first game at COSAFA in Eswatini. He is equally in good shape and ready for the game.”

The ZESCO team will be headed to South Africa yesterday ahead of the game on Sunday against Royal AM at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Following this, the ZESCO team will host Royal AM at the Levy Stadium on 15 October.
