Chipolopolo Victorious Against Botswana As Game Goes To Penalties

Chipolopolo bested Botswana in a tightly contested quarter-final in Zambia’s bid to win the Cosafa Cup for the sixth time in Durban.

The match was drawn 1-1 in regulation time with Zambia coming out on top 5-4 on penalties.

Chipolopolo went ahead within the first 10 minutes through an own goal from Tebogo Kopaleng which was cancelled out early in the second half by a strike from Benson Kitso.

Chipolopolo will meet the winner of the other quarter-final match when Senegal meet Eswatini on Wednesday.
