CEO Of Zambeef, Faith Mukutu, Named In Forbes’ Women To Watch
Forbes has named Zambeef Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faith Mukutu as one of Forbes’ Women to Watch in 2023.
Ms Mukutu had been promoted from Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to CEO in July last year and has overseen an expansive row-cropping operation which now includes maize, soya beans and wheat to be used for animal feed and to expand its flour milling business.
The financial magazine praised the CEO's “exceptional business acumen and admirable leadership skills.”
They also expressed their confidence in the company and its board under her leadership.
The list provides an annual compilation by the magazine to showcase women across the world in positions of leadership.
Ms Mukutu expressed her happiness by making the list stating, “As more women take on key positions in major corporations, the number of role models for young women has increased. The mandate of such lists and recognitions is to show young women all over the world, including those from developing countries like Zambia, that so much is possible and that their dreams are valid.”
Other women making the list include French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne and the Sudanese-American physician Dr Iman Abuzeid who founded Incredible Health.
