Police Arrest Howard Situmba For Impersonating A Lawyer
Police in Lusaka have arrested and charged Howard Situmba for masquerading as a lawyer in a case concerning ownership of Ultimate Insurance.
Mr Situmba has been charged with the offence of pretending to be a legal practitioner, alongside actual lawyer Charles Siamutwa for giving false information to a public officer.
In 2019, the pair allegedly pretended to act as the qualified advocates of Mssrs Imasiku and Company during arbitration over the ownership of Ultimate Insurance Company in Lusaka High Court.
The suspects have since been released on police bond and are awaiting a court date.
In related news, three directors of Marshlands Consortium Ltd. are also facing charges of forgery in connection to the ownership of Ultimate Insurance. They are due to appear in the magistrate’s court.
