DRC President to Meet President HH today during an official visit
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced that the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo will undertake an official visit to Zambia today.
During the visit, the President will meet with President Hakainde Hichilema to discuss bilateral relations and sign a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the two countries.
The President Urges Every Citizen to take responsibility for the environment
The President has encouraged citizens to come together and help clean the environment.
The statement comes as the president was speaking during a cleaning exercise in Lusaka.
He said that the government is promoting a clean and green Zambia which will increase the health and safety of every citizen
Minister Encourages Innovation for Job Creation
Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati, has encouraged Zambians to utilise the 22 million kwacha budgetary allocations for innovators and investors.
He said that the funds should encourage innovation, increase production and provide employment.
Stating that Zambia could be the innovation hub in Africa, he said, “Last year, we sent five people through National Technology Business Centre (NTBC) to go and participate at a global forum in Finland and I think those kind of things give the right exposure to the innovators that they are global and not local. You will be surprised with the capacity that our innovators have got. They are creating amazing innovations”
