UPND and PF Youths Join Together to Make Markets Safer

Both the PF and UPND youth wings have agreed to work together to depoliticise markets and other trading places to improve safety. This decision came after a meeting held at the PF Secretariat by both political parties.

The two parties released a joint statement in which PF Deputy Media Director Antonio Mwanza said that the two parties have agreed to form a steering committee to end political violence. He continued that no party will be allowed to transport cadres to areas where by elections are held as it leads to more unrest.

UPND Chairlady for Women Affairs Namakau Kabwiku praised the youth wings for taking a step in ending political violence.

Ms Kabwiku said the violence that the country had experienced has not helped build the country but destroyed the image of the country.
