HH Reaffirms Development Commitment at Chikuni Mission Celebration

During the 120th anniversary celebration of Chikuni Mission and its contributions to Zambia’s development, President Hichilema engaged with the public, assuring them of his government’s continued commitment to national progress and improving the lives of all citizens.

Speaking at the Chikuni Concert Arena in Monze District, President Hichilema emphasised that his administration remains dedicated to uplifting communities across the country, regardless of political affiliation. He highlighted key government initiatives, including the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and Social Cash Transfer, reaffirming that these programmes will continue to drive development at the grassroots level.

The President also underscored the government’s focus on job creation, particularly for young people, through active recruitment in sectors such as education, law enforcement, and healthcare. He stressed that investing in human capital is essential for sustained national growth.

The celebration at Chikuni Mission served as a platform for the President to connect with the community, reinforce his vision for Zambia’s progress, and assure citizens of the government’s continued support in enhancing livelihoods.
