Patson Daka Bags Second Premier League Goal
Zambian national star Patson Daka scored his second English Premier League goal on Sunday, at home against Newcastle.
The Leicester City striker has been in good form for the Foxes of late, and rewarded by his manager with back-to-back starts up front.
Patson repaid this faith in him in the 57th minute against the Magpies, scoring with a simple tap in from Harvey Barnes’ cut back to score his side’s second goal of the afternoon, and his second in the league since his summer transfer.
It was clear to see how much the goal meant to the hungry young striker, as he wheeled off into a backflip celebration in front of the home fans.
Leicester went on to win the game at a canter, with 4-0 the final score. Daka was a nuisance for the opposition throughout, harrying defenders and engaging in neat link-up play with his teammates.
This endeavor led to the Chipolopolo ace also registering an assist, teeing up James Maddison for his side’s final goal, putting some gloss on the score line.
The win moves the Foxes up to 8th in the table, with the hope that they will be in contention for the European places by the end of the season.
Keeping Patson in this goal-scoring form will no doubt be a huge boost to their hopes of achieving that.
