NAPSA Stars, Nkana FC Matches Set For CAF Confederation Cup
The group stage draw for the 2020-21 Total CAF Confederation Cup took place on Monday 22 February at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Zambia’s NAPSA Stars are among the teams set to participate in the cup. It will be their first appearance. Nkana FC have also made it through the competitive pre-group stages.
NAPSA Stars are set to take on current champions RS Berkane of Morocco, JS Kabylie of Algeric and Coton Sport of Cameroon after they were drawn in Group B. Their first match will be away to RS Berkane on 10 March.
Meanwhile, Nkana FC will form part of Group D alongside Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Pyramids FC (Egypt), and Namungo FC (Tanzania) / Primeiro de Agosto (Angola). Raja Casablanca were the 2018 champions. Nkana’s first match will be n away fixture against last year’s losing finalists Pyramids FC.
Group A consists of Enyimba FC (Nigeria), ES Setif (Algeria), Orlando Pirates (South Africa) and Ahli Benghazi (Libya).
Group C will consist of either Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia) / Young Buffaloes (Eswatini) / Young Buffaloes (Eswatini), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) Salitas FC (Burkina Faso) and ASC Les Jaraaf (Senegal).
