League Champions Red Arrows Thump Nkwazi

On the opening weekend of the 2021 rugby season league champions Red Arrows were best to perform. 

The side played Nkwazi over the weekend at the Lusaka Show Grounds in which Nkwazi suffered a difficult 29-07 loss.

A 22 point win shows that the league champions are determined to dominate this years’ season, with future games against clubs including the Arrows and Eagles set to determine whether this feat is possible. 

The Red Arrows women’s team also beat the Green Eagles in an early match over the weekend, adding to a win over the team from October 2020. 

In other games in the mens teams, Lusaka and the Ndola Wanderers achieved wins over the Green Eagles and Roan, whilst the visiting Diggers beat Nchanga 18-12.
