Avrom Grant Set to Announce 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Zambia’s head coach Avram Grant will shortly announce the team which will face Morocco on 3rd June and Tanzania on 10th June in the World Cup Qualifiers.

The crucial matches will prove to be interesting, as Avrom Grant has called Morocco Africa’s best side, “evidenced by their fourth place at the last World Cup.”

Speaking about the upcoming matches in an interview with FIFA, Grant said, “They will be big challenges of course…There is no doubt Morocco are stronger than us, but we must never give up. We know our place, but we will give everything. I think people would say it will be hard to qualify for the World Cup. But when we played Ivory Coast, people also said we had no chance. I said, ‘So what?’ We beat them not just by one goal, but by 3-0.”

Football fans will wait to see the names Grant calls to have a chance in representing Zambia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
