President Hichilema Continues to Prioritise Economic Development

President Hakainde Hichilema has reassured the people of Zambia that his government continues to prioritise economic development in a bid to improve general welfare of the people.

Speaking during an interview with Hot FM last week, President Hichilema highlighted the importance of focusing on re-building the economy which crumbled under the previous administration, adding that the new dawn administration will continue to ensure all available resources are channeled to more important projects as a way of ramping up the economy.

President Hichilema explained that implementation of strategic programmes in a transparent manner will help to recover the country’s economy, with a projected 3.5% growth year on year. Proper management of resources and systematic business management will also help to achieve his vision to help the people of Zambia.

Not only does the president have his eyes set on high-level economic change, he is also concentrating on growth within local communities, assuring that the government will provide them with funding to ensure better access to public services, citing all health facilities to have maternity wings and availability of water.

As his administration passes one year in office, President Hichilema has urged the population to compare his governance to that promised in his manifesto.
