“Take advantage of Cash for Work”

Keembe Member of Parliament, PRINCESS KASUNE has called on the public to take full advantage of the various initiatives being implemented by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA to alleviate hunger amid the ongoing drought.

MS. KASUNE encouraged those who did not benefit from the emergency drought cash transfer to instead utilize the cash-for-work programs available in various constituencies.

She noted that many people in her constituency are already benefiting from these initiatives.

The lawmaker was speaking when she donated blankets to senior citizens in Itumbwe Ward of Keembe Constituency.

Meanwhile, Keembe Constituency Chairman ALICK KANYAMA urged the community to rally behind the Government as it continues to foster development in the area.

And Senior Headman CHIWASA ABEDINEGO called on Ward Development Officers to unite and work closely with Ms KASUNE to better the lives of the people and advance development.
