HH Hosts Steve Harvey at State House

The American comedian and TV host Steve Harvey has been welcomed to State House by President Hakainde Hichilema to discuss how the US celebrity can help to bolster Zambia’s tourism sector.

Harvey, who is best known for presenting the game show ‘Family Feud’ and its South African version ‘Family Feud Africa’ met with President Hichilema and his officials as part of a tour of the region. On Tuesday Mr Harvey met with Rwandan President Paul Kagame to discuss investment and partnership in entertainment.

Writing on Facebook, President Hichilema said it was a “great pleasure” meeting Mr Harvey and said the pair had discussed “opportunities in tourism and how Zambia could leverage his extensive network, particularly within the African American market, as well as his global connections.”

Harvey is one of America’s most beloved TV hosts, with over 10 million followers on Instagram and 6 million on X/Twitter. He is known for his bombastic presenting style and exasperated expression when contestants answer incorrectly on his show.
