Nkana Win Against First Place ZESCO

Nkana won their second match in a row on Wednesday in a game which saw them beat Zesco United 1-0.

The match, played at Zesco’s home ground in Ndola, is one which Zesco’s coach Mumamba Numba hopes to quickly forget.

“All we need is to move ahead. It has happened, we just have to forget about it and look to the next game that we have,” Numba said.

Zesco’s coach also commented on the scenes in his team’s dressing room after the match.

“I think everyone is not happy if you look at them in the dressing room. They are not happy because we really needed these three points but it has eluded us,” he said.

Zesco currently place first in the league, whilst Nkana are 17th out of 18 teams.
