Patson Daka Crowned Austrian Bundesliga Player Of The Season

Zambia national team striker Patson Daka has been crowned the 2020/2021 Austrian Bundesliga player of the season by the Sky Sports Austria community.

Daka who already clinched the official player of the season accolade secured the Sky Sport Award with 73 percent of the votes ahead of Ercan Kara (SK Rapid Wien / 16%), Jakob Jantscher (SK Sturm Graz / 6%), Patrick Pentz (Austria Wien / 3%), Gernot Trauner (LASK / 1%) and Michael Liendl (Wolfsberger AC / 1%).

The striker scored 27 goals in 28 league games this season and also chipped in with seven assists ending the season as the top scorer in the Bundesliga.

Daka is currently back home in Zambia as he awaits his next move with several top European clubs reportedly interested in his services after a stellar season with Redbull Salzburg helping them to a league and cup double.
