Copper Queens Play Morocco in Second Leg Qualifier on Tuesday

The Zambian national team will face the Moroccan team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games final round, second leg qualifier. The match will take place at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Morocco’s capital, Rabat.

Copper Queens captain Barbra Banda says the team needs to up their game after their 2-1 loss to the Moroccan Atlas Lionesses in Ndola on Friday 5 April.

The Copper Queens are looking to overturn their loss and qualify for what would be their second successive Olympic Games. They will need to win 2-0 in order to qualify.

Banda, the first female footballer in Olympic history to score back-to-back hat tricks, said improvements needed to be made but urged both her teammates and their fans to stay positive.

The team is currently training in Rabat at Fath Union Sport (FUS) Training Centre in preparation for the match tomorrow.
