Zambia’s Road to Morocco 2025: Key AFCON Qualifiers Unveiled

Zambia’s Chipolopolo football team has been drawn into Group G for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2025. They will be playing alongside African champions Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and Chad in the race for the Morocco 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

Their fixture schedule has been released, with them playing an away against the Ivory Coast and at home against Sierra Leone from 2-10 September. The October 7-15 matches will be played both home and away between Zambia and Chad. Finally, on November 11-19, Zambia will be playing at home against the Ivory Coast and away against Sierra Leone.

The Zambian players will have to look out for the Ivory Coast team, seeing as they won AFCON last year, especially with their striker Sébastien Haller being in good form with his club Borussia Dortmund.
